I know it happens on both strings on the third fret; I haven't taken notes to see if it occurs elsewhere. However, it's very annoying. I bought this guitar from MF used, and kept it because I got a killer deal.

I didn't think my Firebird had this problem, however I've just looked and the spacing of the string to the end of the fretboard and the fret profiling aren't too far different.
